Had a great afternoon at Triggerfish Brewery in Somerset-West. Such a lekker place with a great outdoor terrace, but also indoors there is a lot of space. (Lots of events happening here.) They have been brewing since 2010 and are the second oldest craft brewery in the Cape Town area.
The beer list was extensive so lots to try😊I thoroughly enjoyed the Ocean Potion pale ale and the Englishman bitter. Definitely a brewpub to come back to!

Very rich in tropical hop flavours, notes of citrus and pine and a good malty base. Tasty!

Ashanti Lambic (5.5%) by Brasserie Cantillon in Brussels (Belgium).
Ashanti is a two year old lambic with gorilla peppers. The taste is very citrussy, honestly overpowering the lambic a little, with a nice peppery flavour and aftertaste.

A super fresh canned variant on the well known Saison Dupont, this one is dry hopped directly into the beer. Full of crispy fresh hops, it it's quite the flavour bomb!

Fleur de Siam Thai mango blonde (6.4%) brewed by Tipsy Tribe Brewstillery in Koekelberg, Brussels. This blonde beer has a lovely aroma of tropical fruits and mango, in the taste I get mango, guava and coconut followed by a malty body and welll balanced bitterness. Very delicious!

It was brewed with fresh mangoes, hand peeled and pureed by the Tipsy Tribe team. Brewer Dan was completely covered in mango juice after adding it to the beer, making me call him (and this beer) Dan-Go Mango for the next foreseeable future😂

A super fresh canned variant on the well known Saison Dupont, this one is dry hopped directly into the beer. Full of crispy fresh hops, it it's quite the flavour bomb!

Fleur de Siam Thai mango blonde (6.4%) brewed by Tipsy Tribe Brewstillery in Koekelberg, Brussels. This blonde beer has a lovely aroma of tropical fruits and mango, in the taste I get mango, guava and coconut followed by a malty body and welll balanced bitterness. Very delicious!

It was brewed with fresh mangoes, hand peeled and pureed by the Tipsy Tribe team. Brewer Dan was completely covered in mango juice after adding it to the beer, making me call him (and this beer) Dan-Go Mango for the next foreseeable future😂

Public health is more important than enjoyment. Luckily we don't have to compromise anymore, nowadays we can enjoy good beer without alcohol. Due to these developments Hoppiness Brussels has decided to only use alcohol free beer from now on. Your liver will thank us!

Beautiful copper golden beer with a nice layered malty flavour; notes of slightly roasted grains, nuts and a hint of molasses and syrup. Yum!)

No worries original alcohol free beer (0.5%) by Lervig brewery in Stavanger (Norway).
A lightly hopped and refreshing pale ale, with a nice bitter aftertaste, fermented with a brewers yeast which can't ferment maltose.

Triple (8%) brewed by trappist brewery Chimay at Abbey Notre-Dame de Scourmont in Chimay (Belgium).
First trappist beer in a can. From the wide Chimay beer range, they brought out the Gold, Red and Triple in cans.
This one is a malty triple with quite a present bitterness and a dry finish.
