This tasty blonde beer is malty with herbal, fruity and grassy notes due to the use of three local herbs. It has a beautiful label with an owl, the beer is brewed in support of this specific rural owl in Flanders.

Desita helles lager (5.1%) brewed by Tipsy Tribe Brewstillery in Koekelberg Brussels.
This lager beer was brewed with barley malts, oats, and hops from Africa. The result is a tasty beer full of grainy and semi sweet maltiness with a fresh, fruity and mild bitter hop aftertaste.
The beautiful woman on the label caught my eye immediately, wow, just stunning artwork!🤩

Tynt Meadow blond ale (5%) brewed by Mount Saint Bernard Abbey, Charnwood Forest (UK).
This blonde trappist beer is easy drinking, not too strong, is malty but not sweet and has quite a bitter finish.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting the Gooische Bierbrouwerij in #Hilversum (the Netherlands). Arjanneke, one of the owners of the brewery, was kind enough to show us around and let us taste some of their amazing beers. They have won an incredible amount of awards for their beers already and I am pretty sure they will continue to do so in the future. 👌
The brewery is in the same building as Mout, a food court with a lot of tasty food options, which can be enjoyed together with their beers. They are running out of space and hope to expand the brewery in the very near future.
In short: a must visit when in the Netherlands!

Lentebier strong blonde ale (9%) brewed by Brouwerij De Glazen Toren in Erpe -Mere (Belgium) (75cl bottle)
From the name Lentebier (spring beer) I expected something a little lighter in alcohol haha, but this strong ale doesn't disappoint. It has a lot of malty and alcohol sweetness on top of a strong floral and hoppy bitterness.

Wipers Times tripel (8.2%) brewed by Brouwerij Kazematten in Ieper (Belgium).

This tripel is brewed with 4 grains, 4 spices and local hops only. The grain base consists of malted barley and wheat, as well as flaked maize and oats. The brewers also infused the mash with spices (orange peel, koriander, liquorice and the seeds of milk thistle). The result is an enjoyable ale with a fruity aroma, a good maltiness and quite a spiced finish.
